Singular Detached House in La Plana de Sitges Barcelona

The house is located in a new exclusive zone of Sitges, called La Plana.  Surrounded by luxury houses, it has direct connection with the motorway.  Ant it is also just a few minutes away from the Mediterranean beach and close to city center of Sitges.

This house occupies three plots.  So this allows to have a big garden and develop most of the program in the ground level.  This means that main bedroom, living room and kitchen have access to the plot garden. The house features an underground garaje without columns and two guest suites in the first floor.

A huge balcony marks the entrance to the house.  The main hall has a double space that connect both floors, a steel and glass stairs and a glass walls elevator which connects all the floors.

In the exterior, the house features bioclimatic pergolas and a living area with a barbecue. There is also a swimming pool with an organic shape.  The huge garden is divided in two zones. The first one is related with the living room, meanwhile the other one is connected with the main bedroom.

Some requests by the property have defined some of the characteristics of the house.  The most important is the building structure.  It is made with precast concrete, so we are allowed to make big spaces without pillars and wide open windows as well as cantilever beams. This kind of structre requires a close collaboration with the manufacturer of the structure.

This house is made with high quality standard and has the highest energy efficiency label. Like many other projects designed by this office.
